Minori is a member of the band 'More More Jump' along with Haruta Kiritani, Airi Momoi, and Shizuku Hinomori. She is a 2nd year¹ student at Miyumasuzaka Academy, and a fan of idols, particularly Haruka.

She first meets Haruka on the roof of their shared school after hearing all day that the idol was a student at their school, and had returned to education after retiring. She meets Airi and Shizuku soon after, when they come onto the roof arguing. Although at first the girls are mad at the eavesdropping, they become interested in her after learning about her interest in idols and in becoming one.
